I am the owner and CEO of Finestkind Limited, a New Zealand company promoting and selling seafood, mainly into Sydney Fish Market, sourcing quota on behalf of independent owner operators and companies since 1996.
What drives me – to be better, to do better, to make a difference.
What I love about being a woman in seafood – it’s more than a job. It really becomes a way of life – it’s in my DNA now! Having my own business and being independent means I have been able to travel, meet people, take opportunities and develop myself and my company, personally and professionally. The learning never stops. The industry is tough, it’s hard on families and individuals. It’s character building and it’s very rewarding, too.

Attending the Brussels Seafood Exposition in 2008 as part of the Australian Delegation and hearing Finestkind’s name called at the Sydney Fish Market Seafood Excellence Awards 2015
