Turn the Tide is a brand new project designed to connect, enable, support and champion women in seafood. Through empowering women, the seafood industry will thrive.
Are you interested in learning more and getting involved in Turn the Tide? Here is what we have on offer in 2023:
Turn the Tide Mentoring Program. We are running a free facilitated mentor program to help women progress in their careers in the seafood industry. We are looking for mentors and mentees to participate. The program will match women at all stages of their careers with mentors, and we will be with you to support you both along the way.
Applications for the 2023 Turn the Tide Mentor Program are now closed.
We will be opening applications again in 2024
Entrepreneurship and Leadership Program
This innovative online program will build your entrepreneurship and leadership skills and capabilities. You will work in small groups over 6 months, with experts to help you along the way, to develop and action your personal plan to achieve your entrepreneurial and leadership goals.
2023 program registrations are now closed. The program will run again in 2024 and 2025.
Expressions of interest are open. Are you or your organisation/business interested to learn ways to make your workplace more attractive to women? Starting in the second half of 2023, we will be working with individuals and teams in person and online to understand and develop plans to make changes that improve the wellbeing of everyone in workplaces. The 2023 program opens in Darwin and Cairns at the end of August. More dates and locations across Australia will be announced soon.
Become a Program Advisor
We want to make sure that our program is inclusive of all women. We are looking for a team of advisors of all ages from all walks of life. This includes advisors from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage, rural and remote geographies, experts in disability, and gender diversity.
